Airtel introduces Webpass pay as you go PAYG

This service is just like having a cyber cafe on your phone. But only supported by opera Mini . It allows you to buy time browsing eg 30mins, 1hr 2hrs so on. You can even buy for 2days.

What is a web pass?
A web pass is a service provided by Airtel
Nigera and Opera that gives you internet
browsing using Opera Mini for a period of
time and within data limits for free or for a
fixed fee. Some passes let you browse all sites
on the web, while others are limited to specific
sites.

How do I get a web pass?
1. Using the Opera Mini browser, go to the
Web Pass Store .

2. Select a pass and click the price.

3. Confirm payment, and then you can start
browsing.
Please note:
Browsing time starts immediately after
purchase; you cannot pause or delay it.
Data charges do not apply to the Web
Pass Store or purchase pages.
How much will I be charged for subscribing
to a web pass?
Each web pass has a defined price, shown
next to its name on a store or on the Pass
Details page. Some passes are free of charge.
In all cases you will only be charged for the
applicable web pass price as shown; data
charges do not apply to the Web Pass Store
of purchase pages.
I have purchased a pass. How do I access the
internet now?
On the page confirming your successful
purchase press the 'Continue' or 'Go to'
button. If you restart the browser later you
can just start browsing: whenever your pass
expires or you step outside it, a warning will
be shown.
Will my subscription to a pass renew
automatically?
No. After web pass expiration it will not
renew automatically.
What happens when my web pass expires?
When your pass expires, the free browsing
period is over. You'll see a warning allowing
you to renew the pass, or to continue
browsing without a pass (data charges
apply).
What is not supported by web pass service?
Free web pass browsing is NOT applicable if
you browse the internet:
To stream any video or music
To download files above 15MB
Via the Opera Mini browser (e.g. versions
5.x, 6.x or below 4.4)
Via any Opera Mobile browser
Via any other native browsers (e.g. Safari,
Chrome)
Via any smartphone applications
If you access the internet via any of the
above, standard data charges apply.
Does my web pass cover all data traffic of the
browser?
It depends on the pass. Each web pass covers
all traffic defined by the description and
Terms & Conditions. Some passes cover all
websites, some only selected sites. Passes do
not include streaming audio or video, nor file
downloads if the file is larger than a certain
size.
Is there a data limit on my web pass?
Yes. Even though web passes are time-based,
there is also a maximum data limit for each
pass, shown in the pass description. The limit
should cover normal browsing of websites.
You'll see a warning when you reach the data
limit.
How do I check the time remaining on my
pass?
To check the time remaining, go to the Web
Pass Store and view the status bar at the top
of the page. If you have a Smart Page in
Opera Mini, see the Web Pass module.
What happens if I go outside my web pass?
Some passes are for specific sites only, and a
different website is not covered. You'll see a
warning that the site is not covered. You can
either upgrade your pass or continue browsing
at standard data rates.
Can I buy more than one web pass at the
same time?
Yes.
Can I cancel a web pass and get a refund?
No. Once you purchase a pass, it's
automatically activated and there is no
refund for unused time. However, you can
change to a different type of pass at any
time.
Can I use a web pass with other browsers,
applications or SIM cards?
No. You can only use web passes together
with Opera Mini and the SIM card you used
when purchasing. You can switch the SIM
card to another device and use the web pass
so long as the device supports Opera Mini
and web passes.
Can I use a web pass while roaming?
Sorry. You can't use web passes while
roaming.
I bought a pass but it doesn't work?
Try this:

1. Make sure you're not using a Wi-Fi
connection.

2. Go to the Web Pass Store .

3. Check the status bar at the top. If your
pass displays, it's active.

4. Check that the site you want to see is
covered by your pass.

5. Contact Customer Service if you see data
charges for sites covered by your web pass,
or have other questions.

Enjoy

Solved- Change imei "this command is not allowed in user Build"

Yes!   You tried to change your imei and it shows  this command is not allowed in user Built. on my Previous Article i explain  GLO 3G @N1000 now working on Android By Changing your IMEI  Don't panic my dear just follow the following  steps below: PLEASE NOTE : AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUM_HERE" the normal AT command above doesn't work.. it gives an error report like this: "this AT command is not valid for UserBuild" instead of the success report of: "AT COMMAND sent" Why? I found that there must be a space between T and + in the code. so make sure the code is like below and it will definitely work: AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_num_here” (do you see the space now?) all applications and most write-ups online do not include the space! so when you get to that AT page make sure you insert the "space" by yourself...
